WineGuppy E-Commerce Site

My first e-commerce site. I worked with a Volusion designer to come up with the overall look and feel, along with the layout.

What I like:

• Images of the category items right on the home page. This gives the users an idea of what is being sold on this site
• Clear boxes on the value-adds: free shipping, satisfaction guarantee, wine accessory guide, customer testimonials, bestsellers.
• Great layout and color selection

What I didn’t like

• javascript top nav bar! Not accessible to spiders
• Footer looks like an afterthought. It was!
• The flash image of sample products for each category looks clunky. (It was added 6 months after go-live)
• Logo is a little simple. Not in a memorable way, but almost looks like an afterthought. It needs to be bolder.
